Where is the gift card I ordered?

E-Gift Cards and Digital Cards are sent almost instantly. Card production and personalisation is required for plastic cards which can take up to 3 days. Australia Post delivery times vary by location and if you've ordered different plastic card types, they may arrive separately. For courier delivery, you can track your order using the details in your confirmation email.

Activating gift cards from Gift Card Store is quick and easy! To activate a Plastic Gift Card, please visit ugca.au/activate and enter the Card Proxy ID and activation code provided on the letter you received with your card. To activate an E-Gift Card (email delivered), please click on the ACTIVATE YOUR CARD button in the email you received with your card. For security purposes, you must use the email address your card was sent to. To activate a Digital Gift Card (SMS delivered), please follow the instructions provided in your SMS message.

If your transaction was declined, don’t worry! Simply log into your account through our Universal Gift Card app (for Digital Cards) or ugca.au (for plastic and emailed cards) to check that your card is active, has sufficient funds and has not expired. If you have not activated your card, follow the instructions provided at Activating Gift Cards on this website. If your card is activated and you are experiencing issues or you cannot activate your card, please complete the form below. We’ll review for you and be in touch.

If you lose your card, you can lock it through ‘Manage by Card’ in the Universal Gift Card app (for Digital Cards) or at ugca.au (for plastic and emailed cards) to keep your funds safe. If you find it, simply unlock it the same way. If you don’t, and you have the proxy number, we can arrange a replacement card for a small fee.

Our Mastercard Gift Cards can be used at 37 million retailers, instore and online. Eftpos Gift Cards can be used instore only, at over 950,000 retailers across Australia with an eftpos terminal. If you have received a Specialty Gift Card, please log into your Universal Gift Card account to check where your card can be used within 'Card Details'.

If you suspect your card has been fraudulently used, please lock your card within your Universal Gift Card account to prevent any further unauthorised spending on your card. Go to 'Manage my Card' to do this. Once locked, please contact us by sending an email to disputes@ugca.au to report your unauthorised transaction/s.

Cards are valid for 3 years from the issue date, so you'll have plenty of time to treat yourself!

There are no fees for using your gift card. The entire balance on the gift card is for your use. Happy shopping!

Yes, you can design your own Mastercard Gift Cards in minutes! Simply navigate to the ‘Design a card’ page, then drag and drop your favourite photo or personalised design onto the card, or click to start uploading. Place your order and we’ll take care of the rest. You can also add a personal gift message to any of our gift cards for an extra special touch.

Log in to your Business Account, add your gift cards to cart, and proceed to checkout. Select Pay by Invoice as your payment method and complete your order. You’ll receive an order confirmation email with a link to view your order and invoice. From there, you can download your invoice and access payment details. Your order will be processed once payment has been received.

Pay by Invoice is only available for approved Business Accounts. If you don’t see this option, you may not be set up yet or may not be logged in. Request a Business Account via the form below and once approved, the option will appear automatically at checkout.

To use Pay by Invoice, you’ll first need a Business Account. You can request set up via our Business Account set up form below, and once approved (typically within 48 hours), the Pay by Invoice option will automatically appear at checkout when you’re logged in.

Yes, you can order up to 1,000 gift cards at once! You can spend as little or as much as you like, up to $1,000 per gift card. Simply place your order through our website, and if you have any specific business needs, our friendly Australia-based team is here to help. 1. Select your card design. 2. Decide whether you are sending to a single address or multiple addresses: 2.a Single recipient: Enter the recipient’s details manually. Alternatively, select “Fill from address book” (requires you to be logged into your account). 2.b Multiple recipients: A pop-up will open where you can enter each recipient’s name, card amount, gift message, address, and delivery method (post or courier). Note: You can also bulk upload recipient details using a CSV file. To ensure the upload is successful, download the spreadsheet template provided on the upload page. Filling out the template ensures correct formatting and a fast, smooth upload. 3. Review all details, confirm, and add the gift cards to your cart. 4. Complete payment as usual. Whether you’re organising Christmas gifts, sending a token of appreciation, or ticking off birthday gifts, ordering multiple gift cards at once has never been easier. Happy shopping!

Mastercard and Visa Gift Card Store cards can be used overseas. Eftpos cards can only be used in Australia. Check your card's Terms and Conditions to confirm.

You can check your balance anytime! Simply log into your Universal Gift Card account via the Universal Gift Card app (for Digital Cards) or visit ugca.au (for plastic and emailed cards). Your balance and transaction history will be displayed there.
